Cruise Ship Bathrooms Get a Bad Rap
They're Too Cramped, the Shower Curtains Cling, and There's Hardly Enough Space
Most Cruise Ship Bathrooms Have a Small Sink and a Stand-Up Shower Without a Bathtub
Cruise ship bathrooms often get a bad rap. They're too cramped, the shower curtains cling, and there's hardly enough space to turn around. But it doesn't have to be that way.
Some cruise lines are starting to offer larger bathrooms with more amenities. For example, Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas has bathrooms with separate showers and tubs, and Celebrity Cruises' Solstice class ships have bathrooms with rainfall showers and heated floors.
If you're planning a cruise, be sure to check out the bathroom before you book. If you're not happy with the size or amenities, you may want to consider another ship.
