AEW Dynamite Recap: Swerve Strickland Retains Championship Against Roderick Strong
Undisputed Kingdom's Push Falls Short

In a thrilling main event on AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland successfully defended his AEW World Championship against Undisputed Kingdom's Roderick Strong. Strong, who is the current ROH World Champion, put up a valiant effort but ultimately fell short against the reigning AEW Champion.
The match was highly competitive, with both wrestlers showcasing their signature moves. Strong even hit his finisher, the End of Heartache, but Strickland was able to kick out at two. In the end, it was Strickland's JML Driver that sealed the victory, allowing him to retain his championship.
With this win, Strickland continues his reign as AEW World Champion. He has now successfully defended his title against a number of top contenders, including Miro, Keith Lee, and Christian Cage. It remains to be seen who will be the next challenger for Strickland's championship, but it is clear that he is one of the top stars in AEW.
In other action on Dynamite, FTR defeated Aussie Open in a tag team match. The Young Bucks also picked up a victory, defeating The Butcher and The Blade. In a women's match, Toni Storm defeated Jamie Hayter. And in the main event, Darby Allin defeated Christian Cage in a bloody and brutal match.
